Hi, I go by Kimbo, and I am an illustrator. I’m 30+, we don’t need to get into specifics lol. I’ve worked on many projects in the past including children’s books, brochures, hair care products and of course, comics. I’m currently with Inbeon Studio in their Boston division! Currently hoping to put out my own series with Blynde World, but it is VERY ambitious so we’ll take things slow with the Kimboji Komics for now.

I’ve been drawing since I was a young child but I only started taking art seriously in high school. I studied AP Art in high school and also studied Illustration at Umass Dartmouth.

Creating art is a real passion of mine and I love the fact that there’s no end goal. You can’t ever just be the best and take a break. There’s always something to improve on and always something to strive for. Art is something that forces you to always keep your head up, and in this day and age, I think that’s something we could all use.

My goal for my art is always to make you feel something. I can’t say exactly what it will make you feel, as art is always up to interpretation but I can say that it’ll make you feel SOMETHING. Whether that be, nostalgia, happiness, sadness, anger, emotions are a humongous part of my artwork. It is entirely the reason my style has evolved into the way it has. Though, it’s starting to look like art for The Gorillaz, so I’ll try to keep that in check moving forward haha
